Black Rock

A lovely little campground (primitive & remote) on the bank of Mill Creek at the edge of the Ishi Wilderness (trailhead on west side of camp). Black Rock, one of the oldest geological points in Lassen National Forest, is huge & quite awe inspiring. Good hikes both up & down stream featuring meadows, pools, waterfalls, etc. Difficult dirt road. Very hot in summer. Watch for rattlesnakes.

Refer to Ishi Wilderness page for more info.
