A 2.1 million acre national forest in Northern California which includes a 203,500 acre National Recreational Area (Shasta, Whiskeytown, & Clair Engle Lakes), all or portions of five Wildernesses, over 100 miles of rivers designated as components of the National Wild & Scenic Rivers System, & 2 National Recreation Trails & a 154 mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail.
