Preliminary Itinerary:

Wednesday - Set Up
Thursday - Services for Overnight Vets & Court Sign Up
Friday - Services for All Vets & Court
Saturday - Take down (after breakfast)

Transportation will pick up on Thursday & return on Saturday


In times of war, exhausted combat units requiring time to rest and recover were removed from the battlefields to a place of relative security and safety. Today, Stand Down refers to a community-based intervention program designed to help the nation's estimated 200,000 homeless veterans "combat" life on the streets.

Free Community Services Available at This Event Include:

  • Temporary Homeless Shelter (with hot meals & showers)
  • Clothing & Hygiene Products
  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Exams & Care
  • Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counseling
  • Social Service Info (General Assistance/CalWorks/Food Stamps, etc)
  • Employment & Housing Assistance
  • Legal & Court Assistance (misdemeanors, traffic, child support, etc.)
  • Veterans Benefits Info
  • Social Security Benefits Info
  • Veterinary Services for Pets
  • Driver License and ID Assistance
  • Haircuts & Grooming
  • Transportation To/From the Event (click here for shuttle schedule)
  • Entertainment & Much More

All veterans, active duty personnel, their families & pets are welcome!

Registration starts at 0800 Fri & Sat (Oct 26 & 27)
Court attendees must be on site by 0800 Thurs (Oct 25)

Over 327 veterans and family members attended the 2012 Stand Down.  Thanks to over 50 sponsors who provided essential goods, services and funding, along with over 300 volunteers who gave of their time and talent, it was the most successful one yet.
